John D. Emory Sr.

|
Mr. Emory provides investment banking services as Chairman of Emory & Co. He has performed over 1,400 valuations for companies ranging in size to over $2 billion in sales. Prior to co-founding Emory & Co., Mr. Emory worked in the Investment Banking Group of Robert W. Baird & Co. Incorporated, providing and directing business valuation services for over 31 years. Mr. Emory is past President of the Wisconsin Chapter of the American Society of Appraisers, an Accredited Senior Appraiser in Business Valuation, served two terms on the ASA's Business Valuation Committee, and is an Examiner within the Business Valuation Discipline of the ASA. He served on the ESOP Association’s Valuation Advisory Committee and as Chairman of its Subcommittee on Discounts for Lack of Marketability. He has testified in numerous court, arbitration and deposition settings, has published many articles, and is a frequent speaker on business valuation topics. He received a BA in Economics from Middlebury College.

Mr. Emory provides merger and acquisition advisory and business valuation services as the President & CEO of Emory & Co. He has extensive experience, providing middle-market M&A advisory and business valuation services for over twelve years. He is the author of numerous articles and is a frequent speaker on merger and acquisition and business valuation topics. Among other leadership positions, he serves as: Chairman of The M&A Forum; a Board Member and Chairman of the Fund Investment Committee of CleanTech Partners, Inc.; a Committee Member of the Association for Corporate Growth; a Judge for the Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year Award; President of the Board of Directors of Milwaukee Shakespeare; a Member of the Board of Directors and Campaign Cabinet of UPAF (United Performing Arts Fund); and a Member of the Campaign Cabinet of United Way of Greater Milwaukee. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, administered by the CFA Institute. Prior to co-founding Emory & Co., Mr. Emory worked as an attorney with Michael Best & Friedrich LLP, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, and bank financing transactions. He received an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a JD cum laude from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and an AB from Stanford University with majors in Economics and History.

Victoria L. Fox

Ms. Fox provides merger and acquisition advisory and capital raising services as a Managing Director with Emory & Co. She has extensive middle-market transaction experience, having participated in over 75 merger and acquisition advisory projects over the past seventeen years, including divestitures, sales and dedicated acquisition searches. These services were performed for public and private companies and private equity groups in a wide variety of industries. Prior to joining Emory & Co., Ms. Fox provided merger and acquisition advisory services at a boutique middle-market investment banking firm. Ms. Fox contributes articles to and is quoted in various publications and frequently speaks on merger and acquisition topics. She is a founding member of The M&A Forum, Treasurer of the Wisconsin Chapter of the German American Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth and the Milwaukee World Trade Association. She earned her MBA in International Business from Marquette University and BA degrees in Finance and German from Michigan State University.

Stephen S. Becker

Mr. Becker provides merger and acquisition advisory and capital raising services as a Managing Director with Emory & Co. He has 36 years of experience as a business owner, senior executive and consultant on strategic business and product issues for private companies in the food industry. Prior to joining Emory & Co., Mr. Becker served as President & CEO of the Becker Food Company, Inc., a leading processor and distributor of meat and poultry products for the food service industry in the Midwest. During his tenure at Becker Food Company, Mr. Becker was renowned as a pioneer in the food processing industry. He is a past president of the North American Association of Meat Processors in Reston, VA and has served as an Officer and Director of numerous corporate, industry associations and community organizations. He is a past member of the Young Presidents’ Organization. He received an MBA from Marquette University and a BBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with majors in Marketing and Human Resources.

F.R. Dengel

Mr. Dengel provides business valuation and merger and acquisition advisory services as First Vice President with Emory & Co. Mr. Dengel has more than twelve years of investment banking experience providing hundreds of valuations of closely held companies and their securities. Prior to joining Emory & Co., Mr. Dengel worked at Robert W. Baird & Co. Incorporated in its Investment Banking Group. Prior to joining Baird, Mr. Dengel worked for three years at Price Waterhouse in Washington, DC, as a Senior Consultant in its Management Science and Economics Group. Prior to that he worked for Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy in New York City as a Legal Assistant. He serves on the Board of Prevent Blindness Wisconsin and is a member of the Rotary Club of Milwaukee where he serves as Co-Chairman of the Military Support Committee. Mr. Dengel received his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University with majors in Finance and Accounting, and received a BA from Williams College with a major in Economics.

Thomas Nye

Mr. Nye provides merger and acquisition advisory and capital raising services as a Vice President with Emory & Co. Prior to joining Emory & Co., he provided capital raising services at a boutique middle-market investment banking firm. Before investment banking he was an engineer at The Boeing Company, where he led the design and integration of electrical systems on a new military aircraft development program. Prior to that, he worked in the distribution planning and performance division of Consumers Energy. He received an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Finance and Investment Banking, an MS from the University of Washington in Electrical Engineering, and a BS from Michigan Technological University in Electrical Engineering.
